Man With A Mission was a popular rock band even before performing OP/ED songs for Kimetsu with 498k Youtube subscribers. However, they gained another 2k subscribers to reach 500k subscribers in 2 months after the release of the special movie. Then, another 16k of subscribers in 5 days after the releasing of the MV for Kizuna no Kiseki. Milet's subscriber number slightly increased, too. Hopefully, we will see a big surge when the singer releases their main MV for Koi Kogare.

LiSA and Aimer's most viewed videos on their channels are also theme songs for Kimetsu no Yaiba. Specifically, for Aimer, the singer passed the milestone of 2 million subscribers thanks to Kimetsu no Yaiba last year.

Hence, if any artist wants to become popular, just need to ride the wave of Kimetsu in the future. Success is guaranteed unless they got caught in their own scandals.

He never said it was easy to be picked, so I don't understand the point of your reply. He's saying that for anyone who does end up performing the OP/ED, they will get a lot of success and popularity out of doing so.

You tell me again with straight face that "just need to ride the wave of Kimetsu" is not mean easy.

"Just fucking perform and you will be successful" this is literally the meaning of the og and your words.

He's saying that any artist who ends up doing the OP/ED will be successful with it. I don't see how that's a controversial statement? Has it not already been shown, thrice by now? Both Lisa's and Aimer's biggest songs in their careers are their Kimetsu openings. This is Milet's highest charting song already within the first week of its release, and one of MWAM's highest performing songs - potentially being his 1st #1 on Oricon's Combined Singles Chart once the CD for this song is released. Every opening from Kimetsu since Homura has debuted at #1 in downloads in the country. This isn't rocket science, it's common sense. You guys are taking a statement that's not supposed to be negative at all, and turning it into some kind of insult.
