But Kira is ok, even if he's a coordinator, it's ok for naturals to be friends with him, since he's different... And in which way he's different?! | Episode that seems to describe well the concept of narrative the calm before the storm. Pleasant narration, played more on preconceptions than action. Slow but not boring. Good designs, Flay increasingly symbol of stupidity personified, but not others joking when they open their mouths. The next episode seems veeery interesting. |

| a beautiful, emotional episode. Flay has been really cruel with locus, who instead treated everyone with kindness. Her racist, small minded and ignorant speech also hurt kira's feelings, poor kira. I really can't stand flay, and i don't understand how Sai can be together with her. |

| I know everyone hates Flay but that's the whole purpose of the character, she's important for the show's themes and narrative. You need a bigoted asshole in a story like this. She creates discord in the ship and makes the protagonist reevaluate his place in the world. |
