| 3.5/5 Hell's Paradise is finally on the stage and it had a decent start. The animation was generally consistent, good cinematography and background art were accompanied with beautiful osts. The Opening is a certified banger in both audio & visual department Gabimaru is an obviously edgy but interesting protagonist with sketchy background as we've all come to expect in a first episode of any battle shounen EVER. Sagiri had some obligatory shine which I don't mind considering where her character drags to as we move along the story. There were some great shots throughout the episode and it ended with our goal set for an illusive Island and Gabimaru wanting to go & save his wife after he gets his freedom from the quest Pretty meh start for now but we haven't really gotten to the good bits yet so ill hold my true assessment of the adaption until then. Excited for the introductions in the next episode. See ya'll then!!! |

| The adaptation of the first chapter of the manga is amazing! Gabimaru's voice actor was perfect, as was Sagiri's. Liked the opening too. |
| Sounds like people were really waiting for this one. The story seems okay so far, I like the sword tester, very stoic unshakeable characters appeal to me. The art and animation is where this show is at so far, and I can't wait to see more. |
