| I enjoyed the ending, rushed as it was. Gammamon's evolution line was always related to stars, so it makes (some) sense that Gulus had that 'alien-like' connection (as in, he's probably something of a digital-being generated from out of the planet), which in turn brings in questions about what is out there in space or the digital space (however that works). So after all that, this ""final boss"" it's just a plot point that exists to have a common goal that eases the digimon integration in the human world. I guess they felt that "when disasters threaten you, maybe consider working together with others" would a good enough message for the younger audience. |

| Unlikely. Maybe if the dark Digimon were part of Gulusgammamon army and they took over, or maybe if they had a set-up that would work. With how things played out I just don't see this one getting a second season. |
| I found the ending likable. Not great but likable. I wouldn’t mind there being more continuation but only way that would fit into the plot is if they just overlook the whole Endbringer thing or make it a miscalculation of the timeline or have some timetravel thrown in which doesnt seem too likely. |
| Unlikely it will get a Season 2 since Toei rarely do continuous/sequels for any of their Digimon series (With Adventure 02 being the only exception) |
