| Volume 3, Chapter 9: This is easily the best chapter yet and also the best writing I've seen from this author. The reason is that this chapter focused on the strengths this story has and didn't touch on almost any world-building, which is the greatest weakness of the story. The fight was well done and entertaining and the interaction between Shin and Lena was great. The series so far has been extremely bad, but this chapter has me convinced there is a good story with character in these novels. Hopefully the next volumes take the story in a better direction now that Shin and Lena have actually reunited. There is also another good target in the future as No Face has to be Lena's father. That'll make for a good conflict. |
