First of all, I actually recognize that you and I are very different people despite having a few superficial things in common, but for the sake of certain interests I thought it might be nice to play along... What I expect from you is a fairly normal reaction, to be somewhat sad if this were to ever happen. Yes I did realize I painted the scenario in a way that an average person could only feel a very limited response to, that was the whole point. I don't really consider myself unique, that is merely an insult originating from your own insecurities, because I don't hold myself to any such standards. As for the whole ego death comment two things are evident: 1. You haven't let that incident go. 2. You think that I think that I value that experience as very important in my life, which is true, because I took it very seriously. More than anything your response tells me more about yourself than I realized before, which I won't go into directly, and I am very disappointed on the amount of projection that you placed in your analysis. Oh well. |
