why is this rating so low? bad adaptation or just bad?

some times i can't tell with these.
did people vote it low because of the bad adaptation of source material?
or is it due to cgi or bad animation?
or is it just bad story?

show is good intresting at list for me but almost evry anime here is low so yea i dont even look at that i just enoy the anime i watch

I liked the idea of Cop Craft a lot. I can’t remember in depth why I gave it a 6, when it really was fun material, but if I remember correctly, my reasoning includes a couple of things.

First, it was a bit brief - I felt like it didn’t explore the characters or plot enough in the time spent. I realize it’s just the one 12-ep season. But still, it seemed a bit superficial.

That said, I enjoyed that it wasn’t too serious or overstepping what it could accomplish in one cour.
I felt like it could have been darker, like Witch Hunter Robin - I enjoy light, breezy shows, but not as much as ones with some darker elements, as a matter of personal preference.

I would watch another season of Cop Craft if one comes out. I don’t want to hold it against the first season that it is too short. That wouldn’t be fair to consider in deciding the rating of the first season. But still, the whole thing felt either rushed or lacking depth, and I am not familiar with the light novel source material.

The visuals of the show were fine with me, although I believe some people didn’t like it (since you asked about why the low rating). I felt like the voice acting was good - I watched the dub.

If it had been a little better, I would have given it a 7, especially if it was still being produced. I felt and feel like there’s potential for it to get really cool, and another season might turn the whole series around. But ultimately, as a single season that might never get picked back up, I was left wanting a little more from Cop Craft.

I have lost hope from the viewers.... there are shitload of golden animes out there which seeks attention.. I mean tomodachi game ( damn underrated) ... akudama drive ( damn it's makes me cry ) .... higurashi ( the best horror out there ).... cyberpunk edgerunners ( no comments)..
and many more...

anime is not about only watching it .. experience the moment.... feel the tension...just like any other Hollywood movies...

I am a weeb and I am proud of every anime I watch and respect all those staff members which paid blood and sweat to make each episode.

massive respect to one piece and detective Conan

its a good show. it isnt a heart pounding constant battle for life but its pleasant on the eyes and great casual viewing.

this anime was awesome and i wish there was more. don't always believe the rating is a true representation of the anime. it's all about personal preference. not a majority rules. Just because most people who watched it didn't like it does not mean that you wont. also vise versa as its easier to understand this way, Just because everyone seems to love an anime. doesn't mean you will also love it.

For me, it wasn't interesting enough. But the score doesn't really mean it's bad. Most people just agreed it was good or fine, but it wasn't anything great or special to warrant a surge in 10s.

I enjoyed the relationship between Tilarna and Kei.

Everything else, like writing, Animation, plot or soundtrack, felt slightly below average.
Budget seemed to be pretty low for this one, aswell.

I highly enjoyed the show. it was the first anime I watched on Hulu. I feel like a second season where the dive into the characters more would be dope, the the bouncer that was prejudice at first but started to warm up to the aliens
