Why does Oojima see things, that don't exist?

The propeller on Reiji's head or Moheiji's mask. Only Oojima can see them. Why? It was never explained in the anime. Maybe in the Visual Novel?

was curious about it during my watch. does the VN was localized or it's only available in Japan?

I believe it was to show the truth behind them. The propeller spun showing excitement and feeling in Oojima, the first person outside his friends he could trust. The second was a mask, to symbolize a liar hiding true colors which were revealed in the final episode how dangerous he actually was. Only Oojima was given these hints as he was the one meant to save the school
