3 eps per volume is normal for LN. Yes, more often we get 4, but still, it is not uncommon. I won't complain that it was visibly rushed but I think if it was any slower, most of the viewers would just got bored.

I do agree with this, if they adapted the whole first volume in more than 4 episodes it would've been too slow to be entertaining. The anime pacing was a bit too fast for my taste, but I still enjoy~

it's same thing with overlord they can't cover everything it's too much to put into the anime you have to remember there working with a budget the more they have to cover the more money they will spend

yeah it remembered of how i felt watching bunny girl senpai, as if it was over suddenly, but yeah, this one felt rushed at the end and slow at the start, even overlord or oregairu felt more natural in their adaptations
it wasnt particulary bad, just a little bullshity and fast paced, but still quite enjoyable a 7.5 for the first 3 episodes imo.
but i mean...they really made an effort with that 8th member in the promo art and stuff, lol

i don't think adding even 1 more episode would've made the anime 'boring.' with 3 episodes, the conclusion to this storyline felt underwhelming in contrast to what it could've been. even if that's normal by adaptation standards, normal does not equate to good. unless animators just don't feel like putting heart and soul into their product, any decent 'story-rich' LN volume shouldn't be rushed into 3 episodes

a good-paced anime which comes to mind would be Fall 2021's Nosferatu; it adapted 2 volumes in 12 episodes
