Woah, it's finally (kind of) over... I was kind of sure I was gonna be disappointed with the ending, but I was pleasantly surprised. Despite the plot not moving an inch until the last three volumes, we got to see Matsuri's feelings being acknowledged as romantic feelings by her friends, her family, and most importantly, by Himawari-san herself... telling a girl that's in love with you that you like hearing her say "I love you" is quite the win.
I felt this was a very explicit, implicit "ending", very fitting for a story about two girls forming relationships through books and literature. And the main issue throughout the story of their relationship being mainly one-sided got beautifully resolved by Himawari telling Matsuri she wants to make her part to maintain their relationship and be by her side.

I suppose we are headed towards an appropriate ending to the story, but I feel like it is just beginning, and I want to know what will happen in the years to come...
