really? have you checked out the stats on MAL for just this season?

OVER 5k people thought it was an 8! plus! you can watch Sentai Filmworks' version of S1&2 on either HIDIVE or AmazonPlus, the English dub of S2 just completed streaming on HIDIVE etc. recently. AND Amazon has the first FIVE English manga books in Kindle versions! Seven Seas has been publishing both the Ereader and print books in English and intends to put out tankobon book 6 on October 18, 2022. unfortunately Seven Seas is taking awhile with that 6th tankobon. it came out in Japan February 25, 2021. :>

also, they got one of the biggest names in anime studios JC Staff to do the anime adaptation of a 4koma comedy manga?!? if JC DOESN'T do a Season 3 i will be HIGHLY surprised. if there's enough content. :)

The Japanese don't care what some random web about overseas fans say about some anime, so it doesn't matter if doesn't have recognition here. As it Sells well in Japan, there is a high probability that they are going to another season. The main problem is when.
For example, they took nearly a year to announce the second season (I remember it well because I celebrated when I received that news). If we are lucky, in July they are going to say something about that. But considering that the mangaka is ill, it might take more time...

Sadly, this is true. If an anime doesn’t do well in Japan, it’s not getting another season. Period. Success overseas is completely irrelevant; there are countless anime that prove this. 

Just like there are plenty of shows that are absolute garbage, yet they get multiple seasons simply because they preform well in Japan. The western anime market simply isn’t big enough to impact what does and doesn’t get made.

That being said, I do hope we get a Season 3, but I won’t be holding my breath. I’m honestly surprised we even got a second season. For example…Why this show and not Gabriel Dropout? They’re extremely similar shows, yet Dropout only got a single season.
