I've watched it five times now and still cry through the entire movie. Are there other anime movies with such emotional impact?

- Maquia
- I Want To Eat Your Pancreas

Those movies areunderrated masterpieces and nowhere near enough people are taking about them.
There is also, THE best Silent Voice, obviously.

It's definitely not the greatest anime movie but it's the highest grossing anime movie. Personally speaking this has to be one of my favorite movies. To answer your question about whether there are other movies with such emotional impact there certainly are but when it comes to an action-packed anime movie I don't think there's a lot, at least for me but End of Evangelion is definitely very impactful the 2nd time you watch.

This isn’t even a movie that focuses on emotion. Not only is it not the best anime movie (not even close) it’s also not remotely close to being one of the most emotional

You have literally only watched this and JJK0. Do you even know anything outside of DeMid Slayer? No, it’s not even a great movie. It just a good one at best. If you think you’ve watched enough anime to base your opinion that DS is peak fiction, then you haven’t watched anything yet my friend. I advice you to watch more anime (and widen your scope instead of just watching popular shounen) before spamming threads about how DS is a masterpiece given to us by god, which it isn’t.

I haven't watched many movies, but the best one that I've watched is definitely A Silent Voice (and Spirited Away is second).

Also, the Demon Slayer movie wasn't that emotional to me, it was mostly boring until Akaza showed up.

Yes of course its the greatest movie to ever exist. Demon Slayer always was a masterpiece greater than any other anime i have ever watched (i have watched 20 animus which is a lot btw) but it reached new heights in the movie, truly the peak of the medium. I cried so much at the ending when Tinjaro said "I will become the demon slayer" absolute masterpiece

There quite a few in my opinion.
Fate heavens feel 1 2 and 3
Violet evergarden movie
A silent voice
Made in abyss movie 3
Dragon ball super broly
Rascal does not dream of a dreaming girl
Your name
5 cm/s
Still a good movie, just highly overrated. For me it’s like a 6 til the final fight and that boosts it up to a 7.

1. I hope youre joking
2. One episode is not enough to judge a show oh young one
3. Which fate, you need to be more specific
4. Fate Stay Night: heavens feel saga (3 movies, not series)

It is the highest grossing anime film of all time and it sorta works as a milestone for how far anime has gotten to the general public. However, the content is quite boring. Mugen train is far from the best arc of the show and the only part which i like about the movie is after the death of Enmu, but that's after 3/5 of the movie. So 7/10, would say jjk0 is much better, haven't seen a silent voice or your name but often hear that they are very good. Many Ghibli movies are also better than Mugen train

I enjoyed Demon Slayer just as much as the next guy, but it is most definitely not the best anime movie, and never will be, sure there was some emotion here and there but i can't shed a tear over a character that was first introduced as a shitbag, only in the movie suddenly to be a cool guy, unless i missed a season, in any case, the movie is held up by the animation and action, nothing more nothing less.
