dude summons that flying sword soldier spirit thing like a boss. and then a few seconds later is having his life choked out from him. uh oh haha

8/10. i enjoy this show

* why couldn't the king/emperor make his 3 prince sons go that refused? doesn't make sense
* and when is that half-immortal guy who was with his son in the carriage heading for ning city finally going to show up? and again, who is he? i can't keep track of the political hierarchy
* for being the "genius" of the clan, yan ran doesn't do much fighting and isn't that good at it
* i wish the brother-sister duo that were learning the feather arts and whatever other secret art that combines with it to amplify its affects were better fighters. the brother just punches, and the animators didn't even give his fighting any colorful cultivation aura when he fought in this episode
* i kind of want to see them chop off that gui huan devil's horns as some type of treasure
* pixiu doesn't play much of a role, huh? that mystic/mysterious bird (phoenix thing) doesn't play much of a role, huh? the dark family that poisoned the girl in the wheelchair isn't going to play a role?
* i wonder whatever happened to he feng haha
* i assume ji sha is making the one prince pay him all that gold in order for their clan to feed to pixiu? and since he wants to teach 200 students who have no prior martial arts training ("rough jade"), i wonder if he'll recruit them to help out his own clan??
