I guess a spin off series would be kinda nice but idk about a new story. I liked the anime overall very much and it had a satisfying, although very sad/bittersweet conclusion. I feel there’s no reason for a new story and even if there is, what can you even do? I think it would be difficult to get attached to any characters who weren’t part of the main cast and like I said, their stories have more or less reached a conclusion.

Gurren Lagann is fine the way it is. There is no need to make an unnecessary sequel and fuck up the ending.
Panty and Stocking, in the other hand? Yeah, we all know that needs a second season, but seeing how Trigger has been doing the last few years I don't have very high expectations.
