Seems like a tv edit like with mugen train but I wonder if this means a chance of a new anime

I think chances are good for new anime content for sure. At least I hope so. I'm satisfied with what has already been adapted.

I honestly wouldn’t mind if this studio does more Berserk, while the first two movies had a few shorty cgi moments they really came into their own on the third and delivered something pretty great

They did great with the amount of time they were given, they didn’t come up with the movie format and runtimes

A memorial is something created to not forget something.
The most commons ones are tombstones , but it can also be monuments , such as Mount Rushmore.

Since those Movies got released 10 years ago and that Miura's death was already 1 year ago , it's not really stupid to re-release them to not forget it. (Even if a complete new Anime would've been better...)

I feel like the movies helped Berserk's popularity a lot, but then they switched studios, waited years, and didn't continue the anime to catch up to the manga. I really have to question every decision made by the publisher(or whoever decides this stuff). I love the movies, but unless they're adding the stuff that was skipped, then this is pointless.

I think we're getting a Black Swordsman Arc movie in 2023, possibly from Studio 4°C.

For anyone who remembers the Ghost in the Shell Arise OVAs, those were recut into a tv series (which included a brand new, 2 episode story arc), and this series was followed up with a movie later that same year. Similarly, Dragon Ball Kai was designed as a means of bringing the Z era of the Dragon Ball franchise back into popularity by introducing the Saiyan, Freeza, Cell (and eventually Buu) arcs to a new generation of fans, which resulted in a new OVA, the Battle of Gods and Resurrection 'F movies, and, ultimately, the Dragon Ball Super tv series.

This hasn't been stated anywhere, there aren't any leaks or anything like that, but I wouldn't be very surprised (but would be very happy) if this Memorial Edition tv series was a prelude to a new Berserk anime adaptation.

That’s such a good news, these movies were definitly the best Berserk adaptation, in addition we’ll have new op and ed, new scenes, new musics and maybe in the future they will continue to adapt Berserk !
