| Erm, that's an intentional directional choice. It was done to represent the chaos of the mind as the memories played back jumbled/unfocused during sleep. It was in the first movie as well, during Guts' flashback to his childhood trauma. It allowed for those scenes to be streamlined, and the first-person perspective added something the manga couldn't and the first anime didn't. |
