So does the MC go back in time? or does he just age back to his younger self, if so would the people that know him when he was an adult say "why do you look younger"

it changes him physically. No time travel. This is made obvious when he calls his parents in his teenage form to tell them he won't be in contact for a while.

He doesn't go back in time, he takes a pill that changes his appearance.

A few times he takes another pill to temporarily revert back to his older self, like when he attends the funeral of his former coworker.

Part of the reason he's in the program is that he's socially isolated so he doesn't run into people who know him very often.

yh he age back to when he was in highschool after taking a pill. Well he don't have many people he know so it wasn't a big problem

He goes back to his younger self from 27 to 17-18 I guess, he doesn't meet anyone but there was a time when he goes to visit someone he took another pill which makes him normal(27)

he just got younger. None of his friends (which he knew when he was adult) was shown. infact the only person he called his friend was his senpai who died. and because of that he became a loner. So the thing that "what if his friend meet" was never shown.

This is all becz of the pill that he became young and there's an antidote of the pill with which he can came back to adult.
furthermore In his adult form everyone forget about him (his highschool friends)

he took pill that makes him appear younger but his physical condition doesn't change
unsocial activity makes him not much known with others
no time travel involved
