Kyoto Animation, even though I despise the art styles it usually uses and am not fond of the anime it produces in general. It treats its workers the best in an industry full of companies that would suck the very life out of its employees.

KyoAni and Madhouse are the standard. You can always expect consistent quality. If I can’t find an anime to watch, I’ll find one made by them because I know it’s not gonna be bad. KyoAni does have that distinct art they always use though. Madhouse is more variety.

I think that the best studio in the anime industry is Madhouse. They made some of the best anime I have seen.

5-10 years ago, I might have answered Madhouse. Right now, couldn't care less if they just vanished.

Best, I'd say Wit, White Fox, or Kyoani.
Wit's does good work in various genres, especially recently.
White Fox is the best for light novel, visual novel adaptations imo.
Kyoani great production, tbh id like to see something that isnt slice of life tho

my problem with Mappa is mostly their in between frames for some of their anime, I know, very picky but their animation isn't as fluid as it could be.Madhouse was great but I can barely remember anything significant they have released lately. I can only remember Overlord and that had mediocre animation,
so it's hard to say. I believe they once were the greatest but now....... . As for the "greatest" studio, it's hard but I probably have to go for wit for their work in aot, vivy, and Vinland saga.i really like their work, plus their osts are usually very good..But my favorite studio at the moment has to be whitefox, like steins gate, devil's a part timer and rezero are some of my personal favorite shows. plus, they made the adaptation of the God awfulll manga akame ga kill fairly enjoyable due to their animation and ost,so I have to give points to that

In between frames inconsistencies always present in every anime I don’t think you really have good explanations for that so callled “fluid animation” and attack on Titan by wit barely had character acting and they used all still frames . Attack on Titan s4 pt 2 have more character acting animation than wit’s attack on Titan . Sure wit did a good job with their action scenes thanks to their best freelance animator’s imai, ebara and ebisu trio.

Vinland saga cgi still worse , the storyboard in attack on Titan was lacklustre with too much of still frames cut added by wit

White fox is at their edge in the current scenario and Rezero s2 part 2 is a good example due to how much their production became dead .
Goblin slayer by white fox is another awful adaptation. The recent upcoming anime by white fox Utawarerumono: Futari no Hakuoro animation looks stiff and underwhelming . The white fox isn’t like how they were in their old days .
