Rent-A-Girlfriend
| Okay, I am (or was) a fan of Rent-A-Girlfriend. But there is something that made me shocked about what happened to the manga: The rate of the manga was low. I thought the reason why because of , but I was wrong... But the real reason why the manga of Rent-A-Girlfriend was gone downhill because of that made the fans very angry at the author. Then I checked out the 218th chapter of that manga myself. As I read it, that really stressed me out because of the But still, it was really shown on that chapter. That chapter really ruined the MC's character and made fans' hearts broken. But WARNING to all RAG fans, DO NOT READ the manga (especially 218th chapter), Many fans (who already read it) said that, by the way. I checked out the Discussion on 218th chapter of Rent-A-Girlfriend Manga, the majority is fans hate that chapter (here in MyAnimeList) as I expected. That's why the rate of that manga is low, thanks to the author. 🙄 Yet, that manga is still ongoing. And I decided to drop Rent-A-Girlfriend manga, so I stop reading it for good. Although, I still to plan to watch RAG Anime Season 2. Speaking of which, there is Rent-A-Girlfriend Season 2 this coming July 2022. I hope the animators won't add the worst scenes from the worst chapter of the manga. Or else, the rate of the anime version will be skyrocket-to-hell [(in other words, from 100 to 0 (low)] as manga version. |

His Japan-only campaign raised a large amount of money (crossing the goal post) so it's popular enough because his fans support it. And he didn't really get any punishment for 218; meaning he can go as far as he wants now. All-in-all; this franchise became more and more unredeemable in the eyes of those outside of Japan. He can decimate and deconstruct his characters, mainly Kazuya, without any punishment. If he gives us what we really want, the story ends and nobody in Japan will buy his works anymore. And I suggest that dropping this crap is a great choice to make. |

That ntr scene is unforgettable for readers who already read the chapter that ruined their day, that's why it's a big deal. Heck, they're still pissed off for it. What's done is done, so that stupid scene cannot be removed by the author. |

| I have only watched the anime and the only thing to get me through it was Chizuru. That ending gave me a feeling like reading the manga might be a waste of time. It’s like a dog chasing it’s tail. Kazuya is also such a bad mc. I always root for an mc to get their love interest in the end, with this guy I just root for him to get hit by a bus. He is just not likable for me. I’m not trying to rain on the parade of the readers and people that are excited for the anime’s 2nd season. It’s great if you’re getting enjoyment out of it. I wish I could because Chizuru is such a great character. I’d love to put her in another story. I come to check out how the manga is doing to see if it has anything to redeem itself for me but from what reader’s are saying it really is what I thought, a dog chasing it’s tail. That would be a hard pass for me! |
