I too was bored as hell...
Completed it just bcoz I didn't like to drop series at that time....
If I'd have watched it now, I would certainly drop it after half an hour or so...

I like the movie but I was expecting it to be like a sequel to the series with all the comedy and stuff , though the backstory was heart touching

I read somewhere that it adapted the vol 6 of the ln??
if thats the case, it means it's a sequel technically. But since it was narrating a backstory, it was considered a prequel.
Agree with you that the movie was very emotional

My eyes weren't hurting when I watched this a few years ago but now they hurt all the time and nothing helps. Have a good day knowing there's someone in this world suffering more than you. :D

uhm it can be related to a hdr 1000 display going bright and dim rapidly, or you could be sensitive to certain light colour flashing rapidly to another, or you sat at a distance where your eyes could not focus due to needing glasses so it strains your eyes, or it could have been that due to focusing for an extended duration on the screen dried your eyes due to not blinking enough

Same, I scored it 6 when I watched it. I do not consider it as a good anime movie but I was expecting a sequel and was looking forward to shiro and sora. Got the poor man version of them and was not happy about it
