MyAnimeList works with a database supplied by the submissions of the users. The mods are, most of the times, way faster than users for recent Animes tho. You can adds an Anime here : https://myanimelist.net/panel.php?go=anime_series&do=add and a Manga there : https://myanimelist.net/panel.php?go=mangadb&do=add Once you submit the form, your submission will go in a "pending approval" state, where it'll waits until a mods checks it, and then accept or deny it.
