So in the anime it was said that there's something that every person has that drives them to stay alive, like Mikasa has eren, Erwin has the truth, Armin has the ocean, what was it for Levi?

all i can guess is that cuz of his ackerman blood his drive is fighting for freedom. i remember a part in his OVA about when he finally got to see outside the walls and lost his comrades and such. hes lost so much but still keeps fighting

I think he atleast wants to fulfill the promises he made to his fallen comrades, even in extreme situation(when eren escaped and jaegerists blew Zackary) he did't think about future of humanity but about the promise he made to erwin.

Actually what drives Levi is the promise he made Erwin, he wants to kill Zeke to make their sacrifices meaningful. Aside from that, what also drives him is protecting his comrades in the Survey Corps.

Just like how Eren is the host for Mikasa’s Ackerman insticts, Erwin is the host for Levi’s.
So Erwin and his goals are Levi’s motivation.
