| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Liked the story more than I thought I would when I was about half way through it. The mystery part wasn't that complicated or even engaging, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Creepy, but not revolting, somehow it worked perfectly even during erotic scenes, which is definitely not something easy to accomplish for mangaka. Also, I gotta say, I kinda like how literally Nakamura used the death of the author concept in this work >D No, but seriously, the storytelling and characters' struggles were just on point. I could believe in either girl so obsessed she'd do anything just to meet her beloved writer, or author who lost his inspiration and ability to write stories, and later kills himself, after loosing all the meaning in life. It's a dark story, but also realistic enough for me to enjoy it. 8/10 |
