| In season 3, there was 109 chapter and we have 26 episodes. In other word, 4.19 chapters per episode. I think Kingdom season 4 will cover up-to, Conspiracy in the Court Arc - 13 chapters - 3-4 episode Fire Dragons of Wei Arc - 23 chapters - 6 episode State of Ai Arc - 36 chapters - 8 episode Now if Kingdom season 4 cover this three arcs, we can get upto 18 episode. Then comes a big arc. Koku You Campaign Arc - 48 chapters - 12 episode As we can see, it will be tough to fit this arc in next season. If they do, then it will be rushed. But it will be a problem if they do so. Cause, next arc is only 10 chapter, which is Bureaucrats Job Arc. After Bureaucrats Job Arc, we will see the peak of Kingdom with Western Zhao Invasion Arc which is better then season 3's Coalition Invasion Arc. But, Western Zhao Invasion Arc is huge. It has 147 chapters! So, in my prediction, we get get two types of season, one with 16 episode season with first three arcs. Then a small 13 episodes season upto Western Zhao Invasion Arc. |

| didn't read manga but i followed closely on the manga readers comments. the probably inventible the anime producers gonna do is, after season 4 taking 1-2 years without adaption. on what i am basing of? i understood that season 1 - adapted till 170 chp(?) was still long ago. season 2 - till 270(?) and that was 2013 and the manga was way way way far away. now, for whatever reason it took them from 2014-2020 to make new season, it seem to me that they just don't want to make the anime so much close to the manga. in fact it became a thing in the anime producing lately. lol at any rate, as how things look to me, they will want to make a gap of 100chp from the end of the season to the manga and not ending the season with too much closer gap and ending as op said the last arc in s4 will be one before the current arc in the manga. in fact i fear they just gonna make 13ep anime this year, and then leave it to another year. my reasoning is because they ended s3 much later than they thought because covid. hope i'm wrong lol. oh and going by my assumption, they gonna slow the pace really hard on s4. which i'm hoping too, i felt s3 were rushed. |
| I have no idea but I do hope it's 3-cour, 36-39 episodes like the first 2 seasons. I feel like the series can do every arc till the huge one in Western Zhao Invasion arc, which is a 3-cour season for that sole arc at least. None of the arcs in this 4th season are that massive to have a short, separate cour/season out of like a Coalition for season 3 or the Western Zhao one down the line so having 36-39 something episodes for 130 chapters sounds plausible to work for me. |
