While the plan to unify China is such a big plan, I feel like it may be possible if Shin gets involved. Either way, it's going to be extremely difficult.

Episode had a lot of tense drama and emotions with the recent actions. Every action has a consequence.

I knew Zheng wouldn't actually kill the Queen Dowager's kids. He didn't even kill the Queen Dowager herself. Lao Ai though.......well, that was a brutal execution. It's annoying that they can't just get rid of Liu Buwei yet, but the court system in place isn't that convenient. Speaking of Lu Buwei, he totally had me believing Zheng was his son. They kind of look similar and it would have made the story and rivalry between them all the more thrilling and poetic. But alas, he said he was joking....or was he? Haha.

Xin better become one of the six great generals soon in order to help Zheng unite/conquer all the kingdoms. It looks like a pretty daunting task, but I am confident that they can accomplish it.

Man, the moment Ryo Fui mentioned that Sei was his son, my jaw literally dropped (in the manga). You couldn't tell if he was lying or not. I mean, I would have believed it if he didn't joke around. Anyway, it was obvious that he wouldn't kill his own mother and her kids. That's the kind of king he is. Shin's about to NEG everyone sooner or later. Hopefully a fifth season will be announced.

even in chinese history, there is a rumor that Sei is the illegitimate son of Ryo Fui. Alot of chinese drama portrays Sei as his son but like Ryo mentioned in the episode, the dates dont add up.

Ryo Fui totally got me with his joke. I almost fell of my couch. That mofo.

Man what a brutal end for Rou Ai, haha. Hated that guy with a passion so it kinda felt good not gonna lie.

Sei is the freaking man! What a leader and great character he his, showing genuine mercy on his awful mom.

S1 almost looked comically bad, now there's the production that does the epic story justice, that's what I mean.

Unfortunately the CGI of the first season turn off a lot of people.
Otherwise this anime would be a lot more popular considering the well-written story.

Damn Rou Ai got the Buggy treatment except he didn't eat any devil fruit. Sei's mom's mental illnes is not an excuse to be that horrible towards him. Pretty brutal episode with all the executions. I find it very unlikely that a mass execution will stop any seeds of rebellion in the future but hey it's ancient times. I also thought it was very uncharacter of Sei to murder innocent children. Good thing he kept them safe atleast.
Shin being hyped up to be one of the 6 great generals also got me hyped up. I really wonder if Sei is actually Ryo Fui's son.

Kingdon has been growing, we see the characters growing not only their physical bodies, but above all their psychological ones. Perhaps the one that grew the most was Zhang, the one that gained the most layers in relation to the others. A negative point this season were dragged episodes that had plots that didn't lead anywhere, the confrontation between the king and the chancellor at the end tasted bitter, I still think the second season was the best, the third is the worst of the seasons. 4 for what he promised and for what he delivered.

the third is the worst ?!

no one ever said that except you , cuz that arc is considred top 10 arcs in mangas not only kingdom and this is not my opinoin i have been folowing kingdom fandom for years and watching the reaction of many readers or anime fans or reviews , it can't be at all that 3d season is less than 2 or 4 not even equal .

the only logical reason is that this Work not your type .

Well I think the love story between the character of wei (Shi Ei) and Shi Kika, didn't lead anywhere, I thought his motivation was weak and as a character too, strong? yes, skillful? also, but as a character I found him shallow and unfortunately I feel the same as almost all the generals presented in the coalition, many were presented, they were promised to be relevant characters and soon after they died without saying what they came for.

well this cuz expected something rarely happenen in kingdom , which i means good character for a general that will die soon in one arc ,
KINGDOM is not this type of manga that delve into the character of the enemy generals , it's only show the character throw his moves and strategy etc.

but agree on earl shi with or without his fb his character is meh .

The enemy generals did show skill in the war in several ways. But they were just bested by all of the Qin generals. Maybe you haven’t noticed but during the whole show Qin generals in general are OP to all others. The Qin bloodline is just overpowered.

Also aside from that Zhangs king speech at Kui was one of the most hype inducing things I’ve seen in anime and I’ve watched a lot. Not to mention how heated that final fucking battle was and the mountain people showing up at the last minute. Season was amazing

Even though Sei's mother said all those mean words to him he still took care of her daughter and promised to reunite them once things got calmer in Qin. I'm so excited what the new Qin is going to be.

I wish I hadn't accidentally read the previous episode's spoiler about Sei secretly sparing the lives of Queen Dowager's children. The element of surprise has vanished. But, in any case, the scene between Sei and his mother is heartfelt.

Then, when Lu Buwei joked about Sei being his son, I had the same reaction as the old man. hahahah. I almost choked on my drink when I read it.

It's unfortunate that the next episode will be the final one. But it's good to know that the next season has already been announced!

I would've killed that queen or at least make her believe that her children are all dead for the rest of her hopefully short life. Also Lu Buwei that mf still being a troll. What if he said that right at the last second before his future execution lol. Or what if he said that in front of that huge audience. Just lie about Zheng being his son. And then the queen will probably take his side and lie too to get back at him and ruin his right to rule as king. How's that for a what if scenario. Also, Qin's six great generals coming back is sure a surprise but not that much honestly. Not only because they talk about them a lot but also having 6 great generals to conquer the 6 other states just makes sense you know.

Damn, that scene between Zheng & Queen Dowager was so touching. I feel bad for both of them. I'm surprised he spared Lao Ai's children. He's not as tyrannical as he'll become in the far future.

The future seasons will be nonstop conquests all the way to 223 BC and, finally, the establishment of the empire in 221 BC. Just reading the summary in Wikipedia is unbelievable. It's a miracle Qin managed to conquer all the other nations without them banding together to stop the Qin menace. Chu just sat on their asses until it was their time to fall.

So, next season will time-skip eight years into the future?

Ah finally the end of the opposing factions of the Royal Harem and Lu Buwei. Ngl I feel bad for Lao Ai for getting caught up in all this and starting the rebellion only because he wanted to save his kids, on the other hand no remorse for that old hag who rightfully so deserves all the misery (although Zheng letting her know her kids are secretely alive was quite lenient imo).
