Story is great, arts is amazing, you gonna cry, a def must watch, but it is not for everyone. For most of the people yes but not everybody would like it

Tbh it was hard to get through the first 5-6 episodes (which is basically half of the anime). Even though I like SoL and tearjerkers, this anime was way too boring that I had to pause it for a while. Nevertheless you could always try it out and see for yourself.

It's great but it's pretty much just a tear jerker so if you're not into that than you won't find much else

In my opinion it is overrated and no as good as the rating on mal says, but in fact it has only 12 Episode it is worth to watch.

Based on what you watched so far....

I'd say no.

It's way slower and Slice of Life-ish than anything I can see on your profile.
So if you want to try something new - sure.

But I don't think you'll like it.

Everything depends on you the viewer and the sort of anime you usually go for. I just now finished it and it’s a 10/10 for me. But again that is because I love those kind of animes. If you’re able to connect and attach yourself to the characters that are presented to you and their story you will cry a lot, well I did. Give it a shot and if you don’t enjoy it after 3 episodes than it just wasn’t for you.

This is one of the few anime to make me cry. I love the animation and the development of the main character is great, the soundtrack is absolutely fantastic. So yeah, I would definitely recommend it!

Its a bit melodramatic and the dialogue can be a bit yikes at times. But the story, animation, setting and characters are all truly impressive. I would absolutely reccomend the first episode.
He died doing what he wanted, no matter what, right? I bet he was happy.

If you are planning to watch the show... Go in blind ... It's the best way to enjoy .. it's definitely not the show to sit back and relax .. but it's one of the best animated show out there. Not everyone's taste but you'll have good experience.✌️

As you can probably tell by the variety of the comments, it's a very hit or miss anime. You either fall in love with it, or you see it as eye-candy. For myself, as someone who enjoys these types of anime, I can say it pushed the bar for what I give a "10" rating higher. It's incredibly emotional, and be prepared to cry multiple times while watching it.

I love this anime. If crying is something you’re into then it’s amazing. The point of the anime is to be moved by writing, every episode is its own story. So watch the first few episodes to see if it’s your cup of tea. It’s a beautiful anime, but tear-jerkers have to be your thing to really get the most of it.

It's a real masterpiece not only for its fascinating story but the well-composed music in certain scenes and the aesthetics of every drawn background and drawing animations! Plus these moments in the anime will touch you for its sad and also happy moments!

Imo it's one of the greatest of all time. I'm an anime fan but I'm not so much into anime that I just watch anything and most of what I like is usually from the 80s-2000s with not a lot I love about modern shows. Violet Evergarden though quickly became my 6th favourite show and I adore it so much.
