X0.85 speed?

Am I the only one that has to watch this at.x0.85 speed? Imo Watashi speaks abnormally fast, was this hard to follow for anybody else? I ended up paying so much attention to the subs, that I basically missed the first two episodes visually. I've since gone back and am watching it at x0.85 and it feels more natural.

She felt like Heaven, but I'm sure she was in Hell.

The first scene was hard because I didn't expect it to be this fast but once I adjusted it became easy to follow.

It is hard to follow, but I still be able to catch what he said in normal speed. Pretty hard though, it's practicing my reading skill.

Don’t focus too much on the words particularly,
just skim and read through whatever’s on screen and keep it at that pace, you’ll also train yourself to comprehend information faster that way (at least to me it does IMO), goodluck! ^_^

not that fast, i watched it in 1.5 speed, but then he began to talk slower after the first ep so i watched it in 1.75 or 2x i forgot which but maybe because i’m a fast reader

I had to keep pausing and the lines were just so forgettable at times but the anime is still amazing.

at this rate listening to it normally sounds too slow, voice acting isn’t a big deal to me at all and i can still understand the music so if it sounds good i’ll search it up or something,, i watch anime yo be entertained, that’s it, and i watch it in 2x since i don’t usually have that much time so i’ll gladly sacrifice not being able to watch it normally to be able to watch more episodes.

yea I noticed that, but he says some ridiculous shit, and I like to catch everything and overanalyze lol.

but wait, do you understand the language? Cus I don't. I have to read it. I can see watching it faster, if I already knew what they were saying, but I don't. Also it seems as though doing that would just take alot of suspense and emotion out of many shows. I'm not saying you don't enjoy it, but perhaps you'd enjoy it more if you took in the vibes ya know? I'm not judging BTW, I respect your opinion.

it wasn't so much that I couldn't read it, more like I couldn't read it AND take in the visuals simultaneously as I usually can. He speaks in metaphors and makes unfamiliar references at times, so i try to comprehend that while trying to also enjoy the unique art style.

I think it was only the first scene that was a bit tough and I had to go back because I never expected it to be this fast. Then, somehow I adjusted to it. From the 2nd episode, the subs aren't really fast so wasn't really a problem.
