This is the saddest and most unsettling anime i have watched so far
the mystery of tsukasa, mitsuba staying with that blonde middle schooler(i forgot the name.lol)
still wrenches my heart
i gave it 10/10
but can anybody tell me how did hanako die?
it was shown that he was standing on the window when that spider apparition narrated that story
did he jump off the window?
if yes it will break my heart
i am way too scared to read the manga, that i might pass out due to xtreme sadness

I don't think it's mentioned yet that how did hanako die even in manga upto chapter 64 after that I haven't read and if you did like the anime please read the manga have some depression in life there's many more wholesome, comic and sad moments

i don’t think it’s aproppiate putting that title. haven’t watch this so don’t know if it’s really important but you shouldn’t put titles with possible spoilers.

Not a manga reader so I can't say for sure, but it seems to be implied that he killed himself. Or rather, that "Tsukasa" killed him, though it seems that they're meant to be (or at least, I interpreted them to be) dissociative identities of the same person that incarnated into two seperate ghosts.

Like I said, though, not a manga reader and a bit of that is theorycrafting.
Well I for one already loved Lain.

The reason of his death is not revealed yet in the manga.
