| Generally depends on your memory/how much you pay attention/how long it's been since you watched what's being recapped. That said, some shows like Re:Creators have recaps worth watching regardless of those factors. |
| no I don’t watch them since most of them don’t really add much besides well, recapping the previous episodes, and for me it just seems useless to rewatch something you’ve already seen (that is unless it’s been a while since you last seen it and forgot a lot of things) |

| If it's just a few minutes at the start of a new episode, sure why not? I'd appreciate a small recap. But if it's an episode long recap which happened in two shows in Winter 2021, then I'll skip it. |

| No, the amount of time I spend on a recap I could be watching the actual show. This is both how I feel for shows with recaps that are solely made separate from the series (like a movie), or when a show's episode is purely a recap. I like rewatching shows so it's not like recaps are awful, but at that point if I'm going to rewatch a show it'll be after I actually finish it, and I'll just rewatch the actual episodes rather than watch an abridged version of what's transpired up to that point. I understand that they can be unavoidable in certain circumstances, I don't have some kind of burning hatred for them and I know they're a necessary evil, but I just don't like watching them. |

| Maybe if it is a show you quite like is getting a second season but haven't seen the first in a while so recaps can be a good refresher. But normally I don't watch them |

| I think it depends most of the time. Personally for me I watch them when I forget and it helps well personally for me |
| For me, it usually depends on the amount of time I have to watch an anime, as an example, if i had a flight in 30 minutes, and had time to waste, i would much rather spend those 30 minutes watching an actual series episode rather than a recap episode, but if I'm not short on time, ill usually watch recaps/specials. |
