There’s enough material for 2 more seasons, but I don’t think a season 4 is likely to come out ever considering it isn’t too popular and it’s Madhouse. Maybe when the manga finishes

As much as I love Chihayafuru, I'm not expecting a 4th season even though there is probably enough content to make one worth 25 episodes. The popularity rank for the 3rd season is around #1500 so we shouldn't be too hopeful honestly
