[Fixed] Can't add anything to my Anime List

Hello, I am a long time anime watcher but have only recently created my account on here. For some reason however I am unable to add anything through quick add as whenever I try to do so it says invalid captcha. I have tried several times, reloaded the website and come back another day and it still doesn't work. What can I do to fix this? Thank you for any replies

the error started yesterday when i was trying to add 3 series i finished watching and wasnt able to because of an error which shows up saying "invalid captcha" above the search box. The error has been persistent since yesterday night and is still occuring i have even cleared all my cookies and cache from the browser but it still shows me the same error. I even changed my mail and did the verification thing again but it still wont work. I request someone help me cos my bad memory cant keep up with all the anime im watching.

I'm having the same issue, but have also found no solution. I found some posts from a while ago that implied something like this could be a site issue and I'm hoping it resolves itself within a day or so.

The "add to list" button from the quick add should be working normally again (I tested it and it works for me).

For the users who are still having problems:
- Which browser are you using?
- Is it working in a different browser? (which one?)
- Are you using extensions to block scripts?

Been having this issue for a couple of days now, and it wouldn't let me add anything new. I've been using MAL on Safari, but I just tried on Google Chrome and was finally able to add anime.

Why is this marked as FIXED?
Im still having that invalid captcha problem. Im not using any extensions and that's the same browser that i ve ever used.

Guys, if u still having the issue ,use the CRTL + Shift + N ( the anonymous mode of the chrome) and add the anime to the list. I assume the bug of the INVALID CAPTCHA is related to some new cookie they put on the site, because the anonymous mode only turn them off.

thonk the problem seems to be fixed on msedge but it still persists on chrome

Hey guys, Thanks for sharing that you also have experienced the issue, I was afraid that it was specific to me and that I wouldn't be able to add anything. Seeing the replies I switched to safari and it works fine but still not on chrome for some reason. Thanks for the help, hope it gets fixed on chrome soon aswell!!
