Horimiya is the first romcom i got hooked to. I binge watched the show up to ep 12 (twice). Its like eating popcorn. I like all of the characters and how the show actually feels “real”. Characters dont feel like one dimensional wish fullfilment trash but actually feel human. I dont really read manga but ive decided to read horimiyas source material to experience the wholesome until i vomit rainbow sugar.

TLDR
i love the show where do i start reading

Well, I would personally recommend you to start all the way from chapter 1. Given the format of anime, many scenes, many parts of the chapters have to be skipped. I loved the anime and decided to read the manga too. When I read from chapter 1, I realized why the manga readers complained about the anime being too fast paced. If you loved the part where they are like actual humans, the slice of life aspect of it, go with chapter 1. Just the way how Miyamura slowly becomes a part of Hori's household, the everyday moments, there are all way too better and flashed out in manga. Read from chapter 1, you'll not regret it!

Might want to wait until ep 13 comes out before figuring out where the anime ends. Otherwise yeah just read everything from chapter 1

From the beginning although they did cover the first like 3 chapters or so you maybe start from chapter 4 or 5

Your best option is to start from chapter 1 since the anime does leave out some stuff from the manga plus the beginning of horimiya is so good it's worth reading even if it is the same content

The reason being so much stuff was skipped that you shouldn't do anything but go from the start

That’s not the point, ur not the one to decide from where he wants to start, just give him the chapter he wants, he clearly to told he needs where s2 stopped

The order of some things were also changed. The anime adaptation has been changed, so there isn’t an exact place where it leaves off.

There isn't really a specific place to start in all honesty. Some episodes went in chronological order, then other episodes skipped things around (some content was from chapters 50-60 and chapters 80-90 within a single episode, then the next episode had content from 60-70). There's no coherent ending place, you're gonna have to start from the beginning.

The reason is, things were re ordered, and also stuff that was adapted into episodes 11 and 12 were in volumes 13 and 14, and the manga is 15 volumes long and finished, so there is a chance of a quasi-full adaptation

Well as the guy above said, read it from the start.

I too just recently started the manga and since I'm just 40 chapters in, I could say the story is a lot more detailed in manga than in anime. Detailed in the sense as that there's a lot more stuff that happpens before a certain episode's part. I'm sure you'd enjoy every chapter of it even it that part has already happened in anime.

Christmas: Chapter 63
New Year: Chapter 64
You can start at 65, but I would recommend you read those two chapters (or start at chapter 1 lol)

The anime has finished the manga (though it hasn't covered all arcs) you could probably read the sports day arc (ch 51-53) there are some other uncovered chapters (I will try list them as best as I can):
Chapter 49, 50, 65, (partly) 67, 77, 94, 105, 51, 52, 53, 113

All most all the half chapters I.e. (20.5,50.5,90.5)

there might be others that I have missed but in some way the manga is a bit different from the anime even in the aspect of mood, so if you want to read the manga, you could even read from the start, though you'd repeat a lot of the anime

During the first half of the anime there were some seriously human conversations that I rarely see in anime, like when they were eating popsicles and with seemingly unimportant dialogues they lead into the plot of the episode

They did that quite a few times and it impressed me every time

The anime skipped so many chapters that you should just start reading the manga all the way from start.

Yeah the manga skipped sooo many things and you can find things of the latest chapters like in the 7th episode.
It's more of a slice of life, so after Miyamura cuts his hair the order maybe doesn't matter that much so read everything hahaha
