Zenitsu and Innousuke were both insufferable.
The last villain in Accel World made me hate the show.
Literally any anime villain that makes their eyes wide, puts their hand over their face (usually with a bent wrist and fingers slightly open), laughs maniacally, and/or sticks their tongue out. Like, I understand wanting to make a villain unlikable so the viewer roots for the MC, but the trope of evil characters that do this is unbearable.
(And no Lelouch doesn't count)

Gabi from Attack on Titan
Ichika from Infinite stratos
Agrona from the light novel of "The beginning after the end" (I have many reasons to hate him but he is the villian too so I don't know if he counts)
Chitoge from nisekoi and other abusive bitches like her from all animes
Sakura and Sasuke from Naruto
Asta from black clover and he also made me drop the show
Edit : Oh also kawai from A silent voice cause I have also been in problems from a girl like her in my class so I despise characters like her which thinks that "they could get away with anything they want as long as they are cute or cry a little" cause it has happened to me in real life and that also just because she is a girl so I was punished and no justification from teachers too just because she is the top in the class. These are the times I wished there was actual gender equality not bullshit like "You shouldn't hurt girls" and "It's a bad thing" . I still get so much irritated when I remember that day that it makes me want to punch something.

God, I hate such characters, who become full-flegded edgelords because *insert tragic events here* and then (mainly) teenage boys come around and tell you left and right what much of a "badass!!1" their typical male action protagonist is. Because no, that new "badass" Eren is not THAT special for a character of this type.
And I kinda liked Eren back then... :/ I liked almost everyone better back then in Attack on Titan, but almost the whole cast became pretty unlikeable to me except some exceptions I kinda think are quite okayish to good.

Jeez. Can't see that anymore.
I played, watched and read The Witcher last year and well, great story, but Geralt got on my nerves after a while too, although he is really one of the better ones of this character type.

Maybe I'm also way too old for edgy shit and too well... feminine to find any appeal in those characters lol.

I can understand why some people would like Zenitsu but he was basically the only thing that I disliked about Kimetsu no Yaiba. He was kind of cool when he was in his special form but when he was just whining and harassing every woman near him it made the show genuinely difficult to watch. He takes up so much time in the later episodes and I don't find him endearing or likeable in the least, which is unfortunately what the show assumes that you'll think.
