| Wondering if anyone else has looked up info on the real horses. All of the ones I looked up from both seasons have been male. Some facts from this season: Symboli Rudolf and Tokao Teio were actually father and son; Mejiro McQueen was Gold Ship's grandfather/sire. That's why they both have grey hair; and Ikuno Dictus (female) had a foal by Mejiro McQueen. |

| Yeah! They are based on real events. So, you could even spoil yourself by looking at the competition results beforehand. Which are the things that I will not do at all. π€ Cheering those horse girls in the anime without knowing any results before is more exciting. |

Fun fact, you can tell what gender the real horse is by which ear their accessory is on, left is female, right is male. So like you said, Ikuno Dictus is based on a mare, and so is Air Groove (the student council VP). |
