I'm not an expert on abuses but Shindo uses a carrot and stick (mostly stick though) method and already had a strong platform to manipulate Mayumi through the fortune teller. |

The way i saw it is he's using or at least what he's using is based on the CIA techniques you can find out there on the internet. |
