Just so you don't lose like 20 minutes of review writing by accidentally closing the wrong tab have a little warning dialogue pop up asking if you're sure you want to close the page before submitting. Sure these can be annoying sometimes, but they can also be mini lifesavers

I can make a tampermonkey script that does it for you, or you can make that yourself if you know how
window.onbeforeunload = function(e) {
return "Sure you want to leave?";
};

If you reopen the tab, the text you wrote is still there.

I wish you was correct, but this never happens with me...

It's been a while since I'm thinking on making a script to "store"/save what I wrote if I didn't press Submit yet,or if I accidentally close the tab

Right, then it may be that text only retains on certain browsers, then. I normally use MAL on Chrome, so perhaps it doesn't do the same elsewhere, I didn't really think to check.

I've just installed chrome to test. I wrote some stuff on the quick reply, and then reloaded the page... I lost everything that I wrote earlier as expected...

I checked it myself, while refreshing the page does remove all the text, closing the tab and then reopening it from history or clicking to another page then hitting back does not. Although on forums the text box itself disappears, clicking "quick reply" again will bring up what you were writing previously.

I did exactly that while writing this, and it worked.

Nice,thank you, I tested that too and you are correct.
Another bug that MAL has is that, sometimes, when I click on submit, what I wrote isn't submited, and the loading image is there forever, and when I reload the page I lost everything I wrote.

Maybe instead of reloading the page I can try to do what you said,close and reopen the tab again, but I'm not sure if this will work
