| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Feline vs feline, featuring side kicks: kitten vs pet bull. xD I like the little touch of Kyouya setting the mode beforehand to put the battle at his advantage due to Crazy Cat Guy (aka CCG, aka Johanesu) expecting his bey to be... an attack type, I guess? I mean it'd make sense as Kyouya doesn't seem like the defense type. I don't quite understand the nuance in what gave Kyouya the win or why Ginga-tachi were surprised by it which kinda sucks. The win felt a bit limp because of that. They had fun changing the art styles for Cat Girl vs Benkei. I love little things like this, it makes me smile. Little kitten got a lesson not clawing the hand that's about to feed you, haha. Also like both side-kicks got scolded meanly, poor things. Another thing I wish I understood is the whole Chinese Beyblade history, especially now we got two enemy families, one who, I'm guessing, is a Legendary Blader? Bei-ling it sounded like? Eh, it's cool either way. Makes me think I misjudged the first season or they simply got better with every season. |
