Since today I am unable to log in on mal while LastPass is active.
I get the error "400 Bad Request".

I have same problem. LastPass on Android works for now, but I have to disable LastPass on desktop Chrome to log in.

Same for me, and thanks for suggesting the workaround - disabling worked to allow me too. Otherwise it's a 400 Bad Request.

Same issue for me. Happens in both Firefox (79.0) and Chrome (84.0.4147.105). Disabling LastPass allows me to login.

Same for me. Using Windows 10 with Chrome and Last Pass won't let me login. Have to disable LP. Also getting a lot of blank screens while browsing the site.

As a reminder, make sure you can submit reviews with lastpass, since it has been an issue for some time now.

I have the same problem, Last past makes the site answer 400 bad request for most API calls If some developer is seeing this please reach out to me, I will be happy to help out with bug replication.

Same issue different browser. Opera. After disabling.. same error, no change.


Edit 1: After a few more tries of enabling/disabling it got in and have had no problem since. I tested the same process a couple more times and was successful each time so.. theres that.

I've found a new 400 bad request login error. It only does it while I have LastPass installed as a chrome extension

I can confirm, I have this issue as well. This issue wasn't happening like a week or two ago.

My best guess without seeing the code for the website would be either a new security script that doesn't like lastpass or an update to lastpass interfering with an existing script, but yeah it's been about two weeks for me as well it not working.

Same issue for me, chrome + LastPass = 400 bad request. Even requesting a password reset throws a 400 error. For now logging in using Edge works fine.

Same issue. Seems to be related to lastpass. Don't know why. Might need to submit a bug report to them about this but for now it seems like a mal only thing.

I also use LastPass and am having this issue. If I use private mode with all the extensions turned off, I can log in.

Hope this gets fixed soon.

I don't use LastPass and i've been getting 400 Errors for several hours now. On Firefox. It's just MAL being shit again. The site has had issues with 400 Errors for months now after that one "maintenance" broke everything.

InB4 Maintenance Part 3 that doesn't actually fix anything.

For everyone still having this issue, do yourself a favour and switch over to Bitwarden. It has exactly the same features (and more since LP will be discontinuing its policy on free users having the mobile app).

The switch is a very easy one to make, just go to your LP vault and export as CSV. Then in the Bitwarden import it, and you're done. Took me not even 5 minutes.

The software is free and open source (FOSS, everyone can look in the code and point out vulnerabilities, and hidden tracking is visible if it were to be implemented), thus probably more secure. (no breaches, much unlike LP's many scandals)
They have all browsers covered with extensions as well as access through a web-interface, desktop apps for Linux, Windows and Mac, mobile apps for Android and iOS. (not sure about windows phone)

Oh and no more ads. (if you were a free user)

There are also some paid options with similar features. (but the free version is more extended compared to LP)

The only drawback is that it looks a bit more dated, but the functionality is snappier and easier to use. (no more waiting for that icon (overlapped by another icon sometimes) and then the dialog to appear after having to click it)


Just got sick of LP today and it's such a relief to finally rid myself of this proprietary mess.

The fact that LP can break a form, should tell you that they are invasive by adding information inside that form, that does not belong. Huge red flag.

IF however you really forced into using LP because of a work situation or something similar:

You can't use the main login, but the iframe login DOES work. Go to any list and click the add link next to an entry, causing the iframe login to appear. On this form you will not receive an error, and log in successfully, if you have the same issue that I had.



You should really still discontinue using LP, especially if you're a paying customer.

In my case I use Privacy Possum Chrome Extension, same result, breaks the site. Disabling, loging in and then enabling it seems to work for me.
