| Nice change of pace after the tense previous chapters. Ruka sharing an ice cream is cute, and for once Kazuya doesn't shoot her own once more. Him not getting a present for Ruka is just inexcusable. Even if he's not in love with her, that's just beyond rude. Luckily she bounces back from even this disappointment, she's got such a positive attitude. This also shows at the end of the chapter, even though Yaemori's scheming got her left out, and she's felt locked out so many times in her childhood, due to her heart condition, she focuses on the good things, and still feels happy to be with him. This is how Ruka really is, when she doesn't feel like she has to compete, and isn't forced to put up a fight to get noticed. Kazuya is luckily smart enough to at least at this moment realize she really is a nice girl. |
| I seriously dislike Ruka. She's not bad at all but her lack of self worth is so hard to watch that I feel very unconfortable everytime she appears. |
