from what i understand,

- the houchou sisters are aiming to become like their senior, so they aimed to reach the moon as the moon is representing their senior.
- however during their journey to reach the "moon", they have hit a walls,
and those walls are their mistakes/failure representing as their other selves
- simply imitate other they couldn't learn from their mistakes
- thus they need to accept and learn from their mistakes in order to break the walls and continue to grow
- when they reach the moon and there's nothing there, they have realized that their goal is no longer to become like their senior but to grow as their own identity.
