is Tenki no ko and Kimi no nawa were in same universe at the end?

In Tenki no ko ending it had raining for 3 years straight and Tokyo was sinked also all the public transport were shut down but in Kimi no nawa ending we see that Taki and Mitsuha both were boarded light rail and the weather look nice and logically the stairs in the ending of Kimi no nawa was suppose to Sink too so what is this? What this suppose to mean? Taki and Mitsuha were in the movie in the early so it confirm that both of this movie is in the same universe but what happened? This really make me question...

Tenki no ko is set in Aug 2021, but I believe Taki and Mitsuha already met earlier that year.

Taki and Mitsuha meet up in early 2021 (my guess April by the cherry blossoms in the movie.) So by that timeline, it makes sense.

Is this mean that they not exactly in the same universe but in the alternate universe cuz most likely that Tokyo will be sink in Kimi no nawa ending just like wwy ending but it not happen

At a certain point in the Tenki no ko , it started snowing , I believe that is the scene where Taki was in the cafe and sees Mitsuha’s 2 friends and he also passes Mitsuha in that scene too on the bridge but didn’t recognised her . Then after that , Hina was sacrificed and the weather cleared and it was sunny , that is when Mitsuha and Taki met at the train and reunite afterwards . My guess is that not all the train system were shut down . Just my opinion .

I think its the same universe but in a different timeline.Because if they are actually in the same timeline,the ending of Your name should have tokyo flooding

Pretty sure it is a different timeline(since we already know there can be multiple timelines), but same universe since the ending scene in Your Name (bridge scene is ~2021 Winter and stairs scene was roughly ~2022 Spring) shows a Tokyo that isn't flooded nor raining all the time. Weathering with You took place in Aug 2021 and ended at Mar 2024.
