This is definitely a case where the adaptation vastly improved on the source material due to differences in priorities, direction, and how they used their respective mediums. Give me a 12 episode anime adaptation that covers like, two volumes of the manga like we got, over the full thing being told like it was in the source material any day. Also, Rea besto. Easy. |

| This is the first anime where I was offended by how vastly inferior the secondary love interest(Ranko) felt compared to main love interest(Rea). It makes me dislike Chihiro more because this genre forces him to be decisive about which girl he likes even though he should be at 100% for Rea. |
