| You should score your anime so I know which ones you thought were bangers! Tanya the Evil is definitely a good gritty one. Pretty mysterious with the omnipotent godlike character, Being X tossing this man into a wartorn crucible. For sure my best rec for you. Other isekais that are a bit more light-hearted but still worth your time: Kono Suba Drifters Kings Avatar (kinda stretching the term isekai with this show though) +Juuni Kokuki I actually wanna recommend you some reverse kinda iseaki's with the MC is from another world but trapped on earth. These types of shows are much more SoL to kind of enhance the comedy of the absurdity of let's say a demon lord working at McDonald's but gets very action oritented and intense when they want to.
