Clara's father did the right thing by sending the doctor to the mountains. It was really selfish of him to just push this on his friend, but I'm sure that the doctor was glad to go to such a beautiful place in the end. That sunrise? That flower field? That amazing lake? Chances are big that he never saw anything quite like them before.

Peter was so glad with his sausages too. xD And I'm glad that his grandmother is in good health. And also that he helped Heidi to show the best side of their home to the doctor. The thing with that bucket rolling down and crashing like that was brilliant too. That was the trigger that made Heidi question the wheelchair, and shed some light on the doctor's mind. Here's hoping everything will go well and that Clara will soon be there to play with them.

The doctor was having the time of his life. His astonishment and awe at the pure nature he observed made me ponder on how interesting it would be to visit a place located at the top of the mountains and simply experience the joy of Mother Earth at its finest.

Pfft Peter, as always, gets jealous whenever Heidi's attention isn't solely focused on him. You are supposed to be the rational adolescent teen here, Peter. I don't know about you, but if someone sends me sausages as a gift, you know damn well I am not going to get jealous over them. Nonetheless, this episode reminded me so much of a simpler time. The looks of joy plastered on their faces when they received something as simple as a shawl or a sausage were wholesome.
