Still don't get why the teacher had to die.

I still find Sanae's situation to be absolutely absurd, and I'll harp on it one last time. Her former teacher recognizing her couldn't possibly mean anything, especially since her married name is the same as her actual one...Like if by chance she starts gossiping back home about how she saw a former student, who is going to possibly make those connections in the same story where a train car can disappear right off the main tracks and no investigator thought to look for any diverging rails along the route (especially ones heading towards the same town where you send three numbskull brothers)? I also find it odd that she assumes her mother's maiden name in her own hometown but not in Sendai...But I honestly hope Sanae pays for that because that is just beyond fucked up and seems so unnecessary. Well, I suppose the entire town needs to pay for what they've done, which is kind of the whole point of the show.

Now we get some real answers: Genzo was actually in on it and not just a scapegoat, and Sanae did kill that woman.

Well that was a lot to take. So George is Sanae's Uncle. And the whole town was in on it. Kind a like the "Murder on the Orient Express" novel. I wonder who the Embezzler politician is > 5:18 AM, July 15th 2025
