| Animes like Clannad After Story and Gurren Lagann have deeply touched me on a personal level that transcends beyond words. They are not just shows that I have enjoyed watching, they are shows that have made me feel alive in this mundane reality, experiencing catharsis in its purest form via a beautifully animated medium coupled with their incredible soundtracks. These are the shows that I can truly label as masterpieces. I can only hope for a day where I can stumble upon an anime that can make me feel that way again, just like how I have come close to feeling it with other shows like Shinsekai Yori, Kimi no na wa and Ping Pong the animation. |

| Generally, for an Anime to make its way into my favorites, it really has to stand out. It has to have really memorable characters, exciting adventure, and leave an everlasting impression. Most of the Anime which are currently in my favorites list do all of these things, and that's why they're there. |

| 1 - Consitency: All parts of the show should be enjoyable. 2 - Characters: unique or interesting characters that have a pretty "human" personality. 3 - Fun: the story should be interesting or fun. Just that. |

| Either it should have a character relatable to me or must have really top class humor. 3-gatsu no lion belongs to first category and my other favorites belong to 2nd category. |

| Most important things for me seems to be: 1/ Characters and how the journey affects them (Eva, Tengen Toppa, Howl moving castle...) 2/ Story, being surprised is crucial to be a favourite (Noein, Madoka...) 3/ Directing, when you combine great animation, music and dialogue all together (Fate/Zero...) |
| Since my favorites are Aria, The Dirty Pair, El Hazard The Magnificent World, a lot of the Fate series I'd have to say the story, the characters and the makeup of the show. |

| 3 of them I grew up on and it would take a lot to dethrone them. Koe no Katachi took me on a journey. Clannad Afterstory was relatable and hit me deep. Hunter X Hunter (2011) is the greatest anime of all time. The rest I just really liked and can change. |

| My only 10/10 anime is one from 2003 and I watched it in 2006, since I have grown up since then. I would rate it now as a 7/10, however even if the 10/10 score is more for nostalgia's sake, it will stay the same. Chrono Crusade has a dated character design, but the eyes are still very beautiful and expressive. The story about a girl making a contract with a devil, and they search for someone as they complete missions for the church. Backstory is brilliant, we see both the devil's personal history and the female mc's backstory which the devil is also present. Ending is sad, with a sacrifice and very impactfull. |
