To such an extent that some dude began to pursue me at different sites and accuse me of “inventing” the theory that Rikka is the embodiment of Akane’s true personality. Yeah, I'm the only one talking about it, lol. Well, as I said above, referring to objectification in this case is a gross hypocrisy, because we all know very well how protective are slashers to their ships and how much sexualized content has been done with Rikane. Similar claims about the fabulous innocence of any yuri and yaoi shipers are as empty as claims that such ships are loved because of equal relations and the lack of heterosexual dynamics, although more than two-thirds of such ships are active-passive. Ultimately, it reminds me of the most primitive political debates, where people write the first thing that comes to their mind with the air of a triumphant winner, lol. |
