DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Ah, the issue of him appearing to have asked her to marry him out of convenience has been cleared up. That's good. I guess I understand the mother’s better perspective better, but it's just that by saying that it doesn't just sound like your implying they might be pedophiles. It’s more than that. It's saying that it's not normal for a man to take care of a child. I recently exited a restroom to find a man waiting outside, holding his child. He had to wait for me, because the men's room had no changing station. That's the case with a LOT of places, actually, and it just goes to show that we live in a society that says taking care of children is a woman's job. That's not just harmful for women, but also for men. So many single fathers, fathers married to other men, stay at home dads, brothers or uncles helping out, etc. Then there are men who love children, like babysitters and daycare teachers. Why can't men care for children? |
