It's a source of entertainment I don't acknowledge it as a passion or a hobby at least yet. But as of now it's fun and a relatively new way to spend time for me. I will continue it for sure but I'll see if it becomes something more active to me.

A manga/novel add-on in most cases tbh unless the original source is a VN or something that I wouldn't normally bother to try while not invested.

people value anime differently
to some, anime is a hobby
to some, anime is a passion
to some, anime is an inseperable part of their life
to some, anime is happiness
to some, anime is everything

some people see anime as an interest that worth investing time on; they spend some of their free time watching anime for pure enjoyment and kill off boredom in the process; some others would bring it to another degree as they spend most of their time outside of their work and education on it and view anime as a reliable source of joy; there are also people who become dependent on anime to live as they become overly addicted to anime

to me anime was a hobby; I used to spend some of my free time on anime when I was alone or I wasn't eager to hang out with my friends due to my mood. It was the puriest leisure I had as I enjoy it to the fullest: discovering new anime to watch, make planlists, watch them with laughters and tears. A year later, I tend to become more reliable on anime to kill off my boredom as I became less sociable and willing to go out of my room (shitty weather)
sometimes I do feel like Im watching the anime for the sake of my ego that I wish to let people know I've watched this anime (weird of me I know). Since then, I have been constantly watching whatever anime I could find in order to fulfill my empty feelings that I could not find something to do elsewhere beside doing volunteers and exercising with my friends. Whatsoever, anime has became my lifestyle now

What is anime to you and how much do you value anime?

To me, Anime is a hobby, passion, happiness, everything and part of my life.

A form of entertainment that has since become passion for me.

The quality of TV shows in my country has been reducing ever since the mid 2000, thus making cartoons and anime even more prevalent in terms of theme, entertainment, and well, everything. Too much reality show and soap operas in my country.

And my love towards anime has become stronger that it has become a passion to me. I am not a stern follower of anime that forces another to watch what i watch or force someone to become just like i do, but i am just happy to share what i have on my mind with others regarding anime.
It's time to play the Game folks!
