Well if theres one thing i learned from romcom manga with harem , Is never mess with shipping and on top of it these sisters are family, so if one sacrificed themselves for 1 guy it just seems wrong since all of them fell on love with the same person.

Idk anything about that Wedding day scene or romance shenanigans ,
Heres the twist and the expected one

  1. We expected it to have 1 of the 5 girls married to him. This is the only logical sense in a typical romcom manga. But we have issues to solve here, Other must be sacrificed to make that 1 shipping and this kind of thing normally wont end really well in a harem genre. So you can expect lots of drama and ship sinking if this happens.

  2. This one is different, if you read back about wedding scene you'll see Fuutarou felt like hes slamming (facepalming) his face to drawer. Why is that? Tired? Its finally over?
But what IF he was in shocked state because he'll be marrying all the 5 girls. But theres only 1 girl shown? well thats where the twist begin, thats if it happen.

Looking at the title you can figure out why its called 5 Wedded Brides

I dont think theres no other logical explanation since
1. Theres no other girl have relationship with the MC, its a good thing because i hate harem that keeps adding girl with their stereotypes.
2. Neither any other heroine introduced other than the 5 girls.

This is just assumption but i think its for the best in my *opinion*.
I'll place my bet on a second option folks.

What bout you? Still going in for romcom 1 style shipping? I'll prefer it in different way

Well, there are theories that he's going to end up with all of the girls means harem ending and even i believed that it'll be harem ending because seeing him with any of the 1 is hard for me to imagine but if and only if he is going to end up with one girl then i don't mind Miku being that girl for me.

I just felt like all of the sisters too precious.
If i had to choose it would be Miku yes.

But if it's the worst it would be Itsuki, not because i hate her since i said they're all too precious.
It's because she was the first one that MC met and to have all that girl who basically sisters then we got a generic harem ending with Childhood friend win and the first one whom MC met will always win is kinda BS.

I had enough with that kind Romcom harem.

While on paper the "Make all of the precious sisters happy" idea sounds good, I simply can't believe in that. Even if they were only twins, a decision has to be made, because there is no way someone can love equally two or more person in a romantic way. And we are talking about 5 girls here. Some of them would feel like he just took them in out of pity or the chosen one forced polygamy on him. BTW, polygamy is not legal in Japan.

Now the title...
I don't know where "The Five Wedded Brides" came from, but it's incorrect. "Toubun" means "Division Into Equal Parts/Equal Parts". So the literal title is "5 Equal Parts of a Bride" or "Five-Part Bride". Not "Five Brides" or anything that suggests Fuutarou marrying 5 girls.

I think the whole polygamy ending theory skyrocketed, when Raiha mentioned that there are a lot of dresses in the wedding to wear in Chapter 32, so people jumped to the conclusion that it's indeed happening. However, Raiha also wanted to tell the grandparants the bride's name. So if we are going with polygamy, then it's safe to say that none of the family members have any idea what's coming and one of the girls was the designated girlfriend, then fiancee over the years till the wedding, just for Fuutarou to pick all of them, which would be whack IMO.

Well you're no fun but it's acceptable.
There's only 2 ending (unless there's a 3rd one where Fuutarou said go fuck yourself to all the sisters) so far.

As the story goes likewise only time can tell.
It also came out weekly, with this pacing i doubt it'll hold more than 2 year and doing so would be a drag since the cast will unlikely to change with perhaps some additional related character.
And i am fine with that, i definitely do not want this kind of story ended up to something like Nisekoi or something similiar such as the upcoming adapted anime Bokutachi was Benkyou ga Dekinai.

The 5 Wedded bride came from the MAL, you can check it up.

The wiki did mentioned the same translation as you said , I'll go with that.

The bride's existence reassures the readers that the author is not gonna cockblock them, either a classic outcome or an unexpected polygamy happens.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by the Nisekoi and BokuBen part? The dragging? The winner/potential winner? Or something else?

Did you know that the localized english title is "The Quintessential Quintuplets"? If the "Five Wedded Brides" were incorrect, this one purposely misses the entire point in favor of stupid alliteration. And that description:
"One day, a poor high school second-year named Futaro Uesugi comes across a private tutoring gig with good pay. But his pupils are his classmates!! And they’re quintuplets!! A-and they’re all gorgeous girls, but they’re also troublemakers who hate to study and are on the verge of flunking out! And his first task is simply gaining the sisters’ trust?! Every day is a party! The curtain is rising on the Nakano quintuplets’ quirky romantic comedy with five times the cute!!"

Fuutarou must be fun at parties.

Nisekoi main problems on were the pacing.
Just like the review on the Manga you can search there, i have the same opinion with the them.

BokuBen will likely to have this issue too, although "only time can tell" you can figure it out by cliche in the latest chapter.

I knew the English tittle is Quintessential Quintuplets so i am not sure what you're trying to add here or you're quoting someone else or blaming MAL with their Tittles.

About description. Well yeah it's really different from what i read. It has some fact in it but It's more of the Drama Romance with slight comedy (according to my impression).

In this Manga my review is the same with the t1han.
This Manga have good pacing and non excessive fanservice compared the Nisekoi and BokuBen .

You may not agree with me and that's fine, we're entitled to our own opinion.
But i have this bad memories with Nisekoi since i considering it waste of time, BokuBen has been alarmingly similiar.
It would be bad to awake those bad memories again.

Finding a Manga with Shounen Romcom Harem like this already rare, it would have been shame if it ends up like the generic harem, romcom, shounen Manga.

Which reminds me of Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari, i do praise that ecchi shit for its own Original story with Adventure/Harem/Ecchi/Romance genre, it's a Seinen though.

I hate Nisekoi with a passion mainly for the same reason. Komi didn't give a shit after Chapter 50, milked the series until the inevitable axe, while the whole romance realization and locket mystery were so forced that it honestly pisses me off to this day. *Ready to throw away the locket and choose a girl, but 10 chapters later main heroine pops into his head instead, when thinking of the girl she loves. *Sigh* Sure... Then we go to the "He loves 2 girls at the same time" bullshit, while the future winner becomes a drama queen that somehow earn her the win. Tragic, just tragic.

Luckily, the BokuBen characters are already in their third year of high school. Well, it was always more of an episodic adventure, but it should wrap up around 120, unless dragging, post graduation, and/or university arc kicks in, because it's popular, further halting the outcome.

5toubun is doing great. The few "fillers" don't feel like fillers at all, and either they gave new information about the characters, set up the next arc/plot point, or reference the aftermath of the previous arc. Quite a rare gem, that hopufully stays this way even if it goes beyond 100 chapters or possibly ends around 150.

I think that there will be an alternate ending for each heroine, I think having different endings is better so that there will be no ship sink

The possibility of harem ending is certain for me.

-The tile explain it all

-When MC got fever, all 5 of them hold his fingers, each got one remember?

-The bell and kiss at family trip is Author's way of confusing harem end fans (nice one there)

-The dresses at the wedding preview and MC behavior also one thing.

-The crucial part here, MC decided to skip the ring scene and go to kissing vow.
Perhaps he want to put the ring to all 5 of them at the same time.

-They are a family, share same bond, same feeling, and ever mention about how good it will be for 6 of them to stay together.

There still some clues towards harem ending. All in all harem ending is certain for me.

I hate harem endings, choosing everybody is the same as not choosing anyone... also as how unrealistic it is (if the manga was set on a polyamory culture, or set that way it may be ok, but no, is tradiotional relationships but in a polyamory way) so it makes you feel like you have been cheated by the author, and the experience is really disgusting.

But well I also hate how in a lot of mangas relationships (romantic) are handled in the most unreal and unlogical ways (this one is... fine I guess, tho I like the manga)...

Just so you know Harem ending isn't a common thing in a story.

It only shown mostly in Fantasy or such and I agree the settings wasn't really build for it.

Idk what you meant cheated, You have been warned that once you read Harem stuff you're in for something like that whether you like it or not.
It'll either go what you expected or it will not.
An option where MC picked only one , or option where MC picked everyone.

I need to explain better my point, my problem is not that the story wouldn't go the way I want it to, my problem is that even though a story can has its own set of rules it has to follow a logic (the logic here is that in these shows no one is about harems, most of the girls hate little romantic interactions between the MC and other girls, let alone marrying the others too) so when it goes certain routes (worst if its the ending) just to please (or not displease) the audience it bothers me a lot (harems are most of the time a resource that pops out by surprise in the last chapter and no one is expecting it, or wanting it, but when the MC states it everyone is ok with it and all smiles were protected).

So my thoughs are the contrary of what you stated. As an audience we need to grow a little and accept things that we may not even prefer - heck, sometimes the drama out of that makes the story better (if they make sense and help the story progress), and an author should respect himself to follow a conclusion, and respect the intelligence of its audience.

PS: What I say is according to a show like this one or most of romcoms where the logic tells that an harem would be a clear no, unless it becomes a yes in the last chapter. If by chance you make a story where a real harem is built then I would be okay with it (some show are like that and I like them)

Its A good Anime with a big plot twist

But I have theory it could be true but could also not be

The girl that Futaro married could not have been true but a Fantasy that Futaro thought to himself and the Sisters were not there because Futaro did not know that the girl he fell in love with is one of them

its just a theory so dont worry it might be wrong

I assume you didn’t read the Manga whatsoever, it’s not a theory, that he ends up on with one of the girls regardless how you read into the last few chapters.
